John Kollock Release “Born & Reborn Clarkesville, 1936″

This print will be released on March 10th, 2012 at Mountain Gallery from 11:00-2:00. Mountain Gallery will  host a “Meet the Artist”event for this print release. Mark your calendars, so you don’t miss this special event. John will be signing prints, and reminiscing about primitive settings in our Northeast Georgia Mountains, particularly home, Clarkesville, GA. This piece may remind you of your birth at The Charm House. This print portrays a new mother leaving The Charm House after delivering her precious child. In the distance, one can also see folks attending service at The First Presbyterian Church…hence the name “Born and Reborn”.

The Dollmaker by John Kollock

John Kollock’s last print was released on Saturday, September 10th for the 2011 season. This original watercolor of “The Dollmaker” is available at the gallery (price $1000). Limited Edition Signed Prints available $50.

This sixteen year old girl featured in this piece is a local corn husk manipulator.  For a limited time, these dolls are on display and for sale at the gallery. They would make perfect table decorations for your Thanksgiving gathering. You will find a variety of doll personalities in the selection.

Experience Art Party at Mountain Gallery

Call or email Mountain Gallery to reserve your spot for the next “Experience Art Party”.

Cost $40 per session. Includes all paint supplies/materials and instructors’ fee. A local fine artist will give step-by-step instructions on how to paint your own “masterpiece”. After only  2 – 2 1/2 hour session, you will take home your completed your work of art. You can choose the subject matter of the masterpiece you would like to create by selecting your date of session. Classes/parties are for  “big-kids” adults only. Reserved seating and 50% non-refundable deposit is required. Small class-party size allows for one-on-one support. Only 10 seats available per session, so call and reserve your spot today.

Our goal is to provide a fun social experience while “experiencing art”!

  • Moulding/frames are priced by the foot.
  • Mats – we use actually extend the life of art by neutralizing acid by-products (ACID & LIGNIN FREE), protect against damaging pollutants, and are fade and bleed resistant. Mats are priced according to size of frame and number of window cut outs.
  • Glazing/glass-we offer premium clear, reflection control, conservation clear, conservation reflection control, museum, and optium  acrylic. All priced according to your selection and size to fit your frame.
  • Quotes on Shadow boxes  are estimates only and priced after completion of job, due to extra labor costs that could arise.
